Responsibilities and accomplishments:
Increased revenues from $6.5 million to $21 million in five years, and staff from 28 to 150 employees; expanded company’s clinical marketing communications business client base to more than 16 multinational pharmaceutical companies and 25 product categories
Conceptualized and managed the launch of a Canadian affiliate organization that was ultimately responsible for 20% of total revenues and 30% of company profits
Developed and implemented global expansion and product development strategy for multinational clients, including medical education programs for Imitrex, Zofran, Serevent and Epivir for Glaxo
Initiated merger discussions with Medical Marketing Group (Medco PBM company affiliate); not consummated as a result of General Partner hesitancy (would have resulted in approximately $60 million buy-in valuation following Merck purchase of Medco)
